Cracker Barrel Facility Services Project Manager in Lebanon, Tennessee

The Facility Services Project Managers supervises the facility services coordinators and oversees the administrative functions of remodels and special projects. Ensures process and procedures are developed, implemented, and consistently executed in support of the Facility Services Department goals and objectives of execution of facilities maintenance and capital services. Serves as project manager for capital rollouts. Serves as the facility services representative to other Home Office departments on a variety of project teams and in support of various Home Office processes.


Hires, Trains, and develops Facility Services Coordinators to maintain a fully qualified staff. Offers guidance and direction on performance of complex challenges. Develops individual development plans for the coordinator team. Reviews performance and coaches, teaches, and mentors the coordinators.

Develop, implement, and ensure consistent execution of processes, procedures, standards, and best practices. Support the Facility Services strategies and objectives of providing maintenance and capital support to the stores and their leadership teams. Assist in researching and implementing improved methods for department workflow. Communicates, directs, and monitors compliance for implemented improvements for the department, the brand, and our vendors. Provide specifications management. Review Service Agreements, Purchase Orders, and Invoices for policy and business practice compliance. Assist in development of the department’s annual operating budget. These functions will require cross functional collaboration with FP&A, Fixed Assets, Risk Management, and Construction.

Maintain the recurring services programs for facility services. Periodically review and rewrite technical scopes of work based on changes in best business practices and input from the field. Develop bid packages, award work, and maintain the vendor database along with rate expectations for each of the recurring services programs within the department’s purview. Maintain quality assurance for scope of work compliance by partnering with the appropriate internal and external proponents. Develop annual budgets for the recurring services programs.

Responsible for project management of select equipment rollouts and retrofit projects. Develop and revise scopes of work, identify qualified bidders, develop requests for proposal, award work, communicate the plan, execute the plan, and conduct quality assurance and approve invoices for payment.


  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • 1 year project management experience required. 3 years preferred

  • 1 year management experience required

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills

  • Proficient in MS Office software

  • Managerial and Leadership skills

  • Budget and Planning skills

  • Basic understanding of mechanical systems for HVAC and Refrigeration
